A phone screening with our Intake Coordinator is the first step of beginning services with us at Sprout Therapy PDX. Once we confirm your appointment time, we will send over some forms that will need to be completed at least 3 business days prior to your screener. During our brief consult call, our Intake Coordinator will determine whether you’re a good candidate for our services and will work to match you with an appropriate clinician at our practice or add you to our waitlist. Please ensure you are available at the phone number provided to us at the start time of your scheduled screening.
As an outpatient mental health clinic, our office is not able to provide support for those who might be more appropriate for substance abuse treatment, those experiencing chronic suicidality or any other major safety risk. Our clinicians meet with their clients 1x per week or less for therapy, and we do not offer 24 hour contact with our clients for crisis support. Prospective clients needing more support will be directed to seek services at a higher level of care.
Our telephone screenings with our Intake Coordinator do not establish care at our clinic. You will not become a client with Sprout until you complete a formal intake assessment with an assigned clinician at Sprout Therapy PDX.
