Associate Clinicians & ASsociate Child and Family Therapists

Position Overview
Associate Clinicians provide outpatient therapy to children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, and/or groups. We are currently seeking marriage and family therapy associates, professional counseling associates, and clinical social work associates who share our values and want to join a dynamic, independent, and collaborative team.

This is a full-time position requiring 23+ scheduled clinical hours per week. Schedule is flexible, with hybrid or fully remote positions available.

  • Base salary: $67,165/year for those with 1+ year post-grad experience.

  • Typical range: $73,788–$82,000+/year pre-tax when meeting expectations.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, couple, family, and/or group counseling in-person or via telehealth, following Sprout Therapy PDX policies.

  • Maintain timely and thorough documentation (1 day for intakes, 7 days for ongoing sessions), including intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, and termination summaries.

  • Communicate with collaterals (PCP, psychiatrist, school staff, etc.) as needed.

  • Uphold all applicable laws, regulations, licensing rules, and codes of ethics.

  • Keep client files and demographic data accurate and current.

  • Attend mandatory staff meetings and trainings.

  • Respond to client communications within 1 business day.

  • Collect and process payments for services as directed by policy.

  • Conduct counseling in a professional, respectful, and collaborative manner.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, social work, or related field.

  • Active and unrestricted Oregon license or associate registration (CSWA, PCA, MFTA) — or in process for out-of-state applicants.

  • Ability to schedule 23+ client sessions per week when referrals are available.

  • Organized, detail-oriented, punctual, and professional.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Self-directed, confident, and clinically skilled.

  • Emotional intelligence, flexibility, and a willingness to adapt.

Apply as an associate Child and Family Therapist

case manager (QMHA)

Position Overview
This role will focus directly on case management for current and prospective clients with Oregon Health Plan. The Case Manager will provide referrals for current or prospective clients who are in need of new or different services, provide support to clients at Sprout who need extra help with tasks related to their mental health needs, such as accessing housing, financial support, and additional resources.

This is a full-time position requiring 15+ case management hours per week, 5+ intake screening hours per week, plus an additional 10 administrative hours per week, paid at a rate of $20-25/hr. Schedule is flexible and fully remote.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordination with clinicians regarding clients on their caseload who need additional support

  • Support current Sprout Therapy PDX clients who need additional support accessing resources or referrals to other services or higher levels of care

  • Answer phone and respond to voicemails during your working hours

  • Maintain a resource list, updating as necessary

  • Support Intake Coordinator in providing referrals for prospective clients who are not a good fit for our services by providing pre-screening consultations and complete relevant paperwork

  • Coordination with Clinical Administrator regarding all case management/scheduling/billing/insurance/paperwork related inquiries

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Knowledge of Sprout Therapy PDX client experience goals and how to achieve client satisfaction 

  • Be organized and detail oriented, punctual, and professional

  • Self-directed, responsible, confident, and quick 

  • Be able to lead and manage client intake and scheduling

  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal and customer service skills, and ability to communicate firmly yet empathetically

  • Creative thinker with long term goals for the agency and motivation to accomplish these goals as a team

  • Render services and supports within their scope to individuals engaged in a Division approved behavioral health services provider; and

  • Shall meet the following minimum qualifications and be registered as a QMHA:

    • (A) Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or behavioral science field and documentation of a minimum of two hours every two years or three hours every three years of suicide risk screening, Intervention, and management training;

    • (B) An equivalent degree as evidenced by providing transcripts indicating applicable coursework meeting the required competencies and approved by a Division certified behavioral health provider and documentation of a minimum of two hours every two years or three hours every three years of suicide risk screening, Intervention and management training; or

    • (C) A combination of at least three years of relevant work, education, training, or experience and documentation of a minimum of two hours every two years or three hours every three years of suicide risk screening, Intervention and management training.

    • (d) Receive clinical supervision that documents progress towards certification and recertification.
