corri’s story

Hi there! My name is Corri (she/her) and I’m so glad you’re here.

I have been obsessed with learning about what it means to be human for as long as I can remember. Along with that interest has come a strong passion for mental health advocacy and a deep appreciation for the transformative power of community.

I’ve been lucky enough to live in the peaceful and beautiful corner of the world that is the Pacific Northwest since 2018. My roots are planted all around California but my true “home” is the beach. It was there that I first felt a deep sense of connection to the Earth and all her Wonder, and I often take day trips to the coast to center myself back into that feeling. I majored in psychology in college and have always had a passion for the mental health field. There is nothing more interesting to me than the way our brains work to keep us feeling safe and secure. I earned my Master’s Degree in Couples and Family Therapy from Antioch University in Seattle, Washington and have since dedicated my life to helping folks understand themselves and those around them with true gentleness and care.

I’ve worked within a wide variety of settings including inpatient and residential care, outpatient treatment, school-based treatment for neurodiverse students, community based care, as well as within a private practice setting. I have been lucky enough to work with folks of all ages, but my passion is working with young adults experiencing significant life transitions. I am endlessly inspired by their ever-widening perspectives and new, creative ways of existing in the world.

I specialize in helping folks who experience difficulty in their ability to openly and honestly express their emotions. My therapeutic style is relational, client-centered, attachment informed, and internalized-oppression focused. I believe that the messages and level of attunement you received during your childhood impact your perceptions and beliefs about yourself as an adult, and I take into account how all aspects of your identity create your unique sense of who you are. My approach examines the meaning making we do throughout our lives and empowers you to be active in the process. My hope is to co-create a space in which you feel validated, free, and safe enough to explore what it means to honor the truest version of yourself.

I am supervised by Molly Dressler, LCSW.
