NEW! Supplemental Services at Sprout Therapy PDX

As we move into the new year, many clients are navigating stress, burnout, or complex needs that therapy alone may not fully address. At Sprout Therapy PDX, we offer more than just weekly sessions—we’re building a team-based model of care. That means your therapist doesn’t have to be your only support person. You deserve a full team.

What Are Supplemental Services? Supplemental services at Sprout are designed to support your mental health beyond traditional talk therapy. Depending on your needs and coverage, you may have access to:

  • Medication Management (with our psychiatric nurse practitioner)

  • Peer Support (from someone with lived experience in mental health recovery)

  • Case Management (to help with resources, systems, and real-world logistics)

These services can be added alongside your therapy and tailored to what actually works for your life.

Why Team-Based Care Matters We know healing isn’t one-size-fits-all. Some of the biggest barriers to mental health aren’t internal—they’re practical:

  • Difficulty getting medications filled

  • Navigating housing, benefits, or paperwork

  • Feeling isolated or misunderstood in traditional systems

Team-based care helps reduce those barriers, and it makes your therapist part of a bigger, more coordinated support network.

What It Can Look Like You might:

  • Meet with a peer support specialist to process life stress in a more casual, flexible way

  • Get help from a case manager applying for OHP, housing, or food support

  • Connect with a psychiatric provider who works with your therapist to support your treatment plan

You don’t have to carry everything into your 50-minute session. Team-based care expands the circle.

Is It Covered by Insurance? If you have Oregon Health Plan (OHP), all 3 services are covered! For those who have private insurance plans we accept, you would only be eligible to work with our PMHNP.

Your needs are real. And you deserve a support system that reflects them. At Sprout Therapy PDX, we’re building a model that doesn’t expect therapists to do it all—and doesn’t expect you to heal alone.

Interested in accessing medication management, peer support, or case management alongside therapy? If you’re a new client, start with an intake screening, if you already see a therapist, ask them for an internal referral!
